Tennis in the United States is played on three kinds of places: public park courts run by a city or county, member clubs and country clubs with their own pros and leagues, and commercial tennis centers that sell court time by the hour. Public courts are usually free and first come, first served, with a posted limit (often 60-90 minutes when others are waiting); busier cities run online reservation systems with a small fee and a permit for the season. Indoor courts are rented by the hour and booked days ahead in winter. Most facilities are hard courts; clay is common in the Southeast and at private clubs, and grass is rare. Lights extend play into the evening at many parks, sometimes with a coin or app-operated switch.

Dayton is in Ohio, in the Midwest, where summers are warm, winters are cold and snowy, and most errands are done by car; businesses keep steady year-round hours with the usual holiday changes. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Dayton follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

Wonderful, safe, quiet location! Wasn't woken by the housekeeping staff banging doors, etc. Front desk is fabulous! Love the fruit water! Rooms are cold& clean. Groovy indoor/ outdoor pool.

We stayed here for a soccer tournament, it's a stay to play event so you don't get a choice in hotels. The staff were very friendly. The rooms were fine. We ate at the in hotel restaurant the first night and while our server was great it took a very long time for everything. They were supposed to have a breakfast buffet for the teams, but the first day it was one tray of eggs, some muffins, yogurt, bananas and a few danishes. I asked the front desk later that day if the next breakfast would be similar and they assured me it would be more robust with breakfast meats etc. the next morning breakfast was the same except no yogurt. At the start of the trip all teams had to sign a code of conduct, which was great in theory, but not enforced. Both nights we had our doors kicked, kids running and screaming through the halls. I called the front desk multiple times and they stated security was being sent up, but both times I stood outside my door, because my kid was sleeping and had already been startled awake by our door being kicked , and not once did I see security or any hotel staff come on the floor. I ended up spending over an hour outside of my door to make sure our door was not kicke
